- The same product. The only difference is it is flat back. It can be installed as a mud back.
Finished dimensions nominally measure 6" wide x 5" tall with a projection from surrounding tile of approximately 3". The mounting space needed is only 3-7/8" x 3-7/8" and the unit has a 5/16" thick mounting flange (for helping match tile thickness for surrounding tile. These are designed for the finished area to slightly overlap surrounding tile where the 3/8" mounting flange occupies a space where tile would normally be installed. The entire back of the unit is thin-set adhesive ready so the dish can be easily installed over larger openings up to the finished size of the unit (i.e. any space on the wall board 3-7/8" x 3-7/8" or larger up to 5" T x 6" W.)
